This is a new book that recently came out in

paperback.  Barnes & Noble has a pile of them

in the new book section.  It is also available through

Amazon.com

This book jumps from Paris as World War II is unfolding

to America 60 years later.  It is an intergenerational

story that is "mesmerizing" according to one of the reviewers

in the New York Times
