Living the Chai Life 36th Anniversary Party
Thanks so much to all those who came out yesterday to support the synagogue. Whether you enjoyed the musical spinning of DJ Gemini, the Courtyard Cafe baked ziti, the pourings of our bartender Mark, or the camaraderie of a community gathering, it was a fabulous evening. Thanks to all the volunteers who made it happen, we really could not have done it without you. Keep an eye on this space for all the fun and educational events to come.

Living the Chai Life – CEC Retro T Dance 1/23
In 1974, a small band of South Florida Gay and Lesbian Jews first gathered to celebrate their heritage with pride. After 36 years of providing a spiritual home for local LGBT Jews, and reaching out to help address and assist in greater community needs, it is time for us to celebrate. This is not your Aunt Sadie’s Haddassah Luncheon. Grab that wig, squeeze into those bell bottoms and come as you were, or would have been, and boogie down. Buy an individual early ticket or support us with a Triple Chai donation entry, let’s party. Whether you come to dance, or to socialize, it will be a night for all to enjoy. L’Chaim – To Life!
There will be light fare from Courtyard Cafe in Wilton Manors, drinks (open bar with a Triple Chai donation ticket) including the introduction of the ‘Chai Tai’, and great music by DJ Gemini, so come and enjoy. The winner for best outfit / groove takes home an IPod Nano!
